A Message From Our CEO: Building Towards a More Transparent Industry

It’s no exaggeration that restaurant repair and maintenance is complex, and no one has figured out how to perfect it yet. Everyone wants costs to come down, but costs are a factor of more than just labor rates. Everything from time on site, technician's experience, number of visits, and part requirements impacts costs. The repair experience lacks standardization, best practices, and pricing transparency, making scaling solutions incredibly difficult.

Our mission to “Create economic empowerment in the Service Industry” will be fulfilled by enabling service businesses to operate more efficiently, and in a less expensive manner. To do this, we aim to enhance the repair experience, not just digitize workflows. Our strategy has always relied on treating both restaurants and service providers as equal and first-class citizens of this ecosystem and building powerful and innovative products for both sides. Today, our approach benefits both sides, leading to service providers on ResQ having a 4x higher NPS score than industry averages.

There has been inconsistent and inaccurate information externally on ResQ’s business model. We are turning this industry on its head to become more transparent, and as such, want to provide clarity to our business model. We are openly publishing how our business works, truly shining a light on how we are making the industry better through innovation while building a healthy and thriving business for ResQ. So, we are going to tell you all about how ResQ makes money.

We charge restaurants monthly or annual subscription fees for our industry-leading, and easy-to-use facilities management software. Pricing varies based on term length, and the number of facilities, and we do charge one-time setup fees for asset cataloging. That’s it! No hidden fees or per-invoice fees at all.

For service providers using ResQ, there are absolutely no fees when they are brought on by their existing restaurant customers. We do not penalize anyone for continuing to maintain and strengthen their existing relationship. We offer innovative, but optional, products for which we charge a small fee to service providers. Participation is voluntary, but the positive impact to service providers can be significant. These fees are charged to the service providers, and ResQ audits and ensures that they are not marked up to the restaurants.

  • Marketplace: Introducing new customers to service providers, with a fee on new transactions only. This allows service providers to grow their business without any sales and marketing cost.
  • Faster payments: Improved cash flows by having faster & guaranteed payment terms, for a fee. This allows service providers to have certainty on cash flows to keep investing in their business, while ResQ takes the payment risk.

Thousands of service providers have grown their businesses, reduced payment defaults, brought down admin costs, and are able to deliver better experiences to their customers, while building strong relationships, by using ResQ.

Simply put, it's a win-win. We have thousands of happy restaurants and service providers. This is just the starting point, and the best is yet to come!
